Nah Barry has brought this team to the Conference Finals two years in a row man. I'd say just get trades for younger players. I would go for Nichushkin in Free Agency too

Bailey's not a cap dump - 31 points in 56 games might not be what you want from a $5M player, but it's miles above what Andrew Ladd ($5.5M) was giving you, and it cost 2 2nds to get rid of him. I'd argue that Bellows and a 3rd is not far off from that package, and it's wild to think you need to attach to him. It's also worth noting that Bailey's only due $7M on his 2 years @ $5M AAV left on his deal, so he's going to be attractive to cap floor teams that want to use his hit to meet the floor without having to pay all $5M on it.

Varlamov gets back a 2nd and a prospect if you move him - and that's before you remember that he's said he won't waive his NTC for Edmonton.
