So Keith needs to retire like I’m adamant he needs to retire or this off season is awash (Ken you dumb idiot lol)

We need that 8 million in cap space.

Money out to actually have some long term ish success. I’m hoping.
Keith retire (smith retiring would be a bonus ) Kassian and Barrie getting moved out.

The window is now. Mcdavid and Draisaitl are in sane so prospects and picks will be on the table. Feel free to critique my trades.

Re signing Yamamoto Jesse and McLeod are the main priority there prime years are coming and home grown talent tends to be cheaper ( no grey beards here)

I’m a believer in long term deals here (notably for Jesse)
But a lack of cap space ( Ken must have forgotten that salary cap is thing)

8 years for Jesse
4 for yamo
And 3 for McLeod


Now for Kane. I have time to bring him back. Someone will throw big dollars at him but he will probably chase money for his last chance. The oilers can’t do that for obvious reason ( oh Ken learn the damn cap is lol )

So if Keith retires it can work. ( it has to happen this aks again Ken. Lol ). I’m missing 3 mill recapture in this scenario so it’s a work in progress
