I know UFAs can sign wherever they want, but wouldn't Nashville (and Burakovsky) be better off if Burakovsly signed with Nashville for 6.5, and they get to Jeannot and the second rounder instead of two year of Nashville. The difficulty of trading a mid priced or even high priced player without expecting cap back, is that UFAs are the competition in the "trading" process.
Same with Kerfoot and Holl. Good value at 5.5m but what do Oilers do to create cap space.
