Yeah, I'm not going to use my retain on such a small deal. He is 2.75M, but that's about the right price for a top 6 DFD who's going to get 17+ mins a night. Maybe he should be closer to an even 2M, but it doesn't matter to me as I have some big cap room. I could offer Kevan Miller at 2.5M but he'd cost more in picks as he's clearly a better player than McQuaid. That would also be over your cap I guess so I don't think I can accommodate you with any of my guys unless you wanted to pay a humungous price for Pulock. I think Pulock is going to be a stud and NYI's are already basically dependent on him for the PP. I'd need like Rakkell+ for him which I don't think you would do because Rakkell has a good contract and he's on your no trade list. He's a very great player, but I think Pulock could end up one of the best PP QB's in the NHL who can actually score some goals from the point with his shot.

My only other player who's a middling 6/7 is Mirco Mueller. I believe he's a LHD though, but he's a good option for cheap, I'd want my 2nd round pick back, like he costed in real life. I think the NJD's will resurrect his career pretty well. I think they did a good job with Moore and Merrill, so I think they can solve Mueller and make him valuable. That's really the only option I can give you that would fit your cap situation.

Yeah I had Miller too. I looked at your team last night and contemplated all 3 of those guys and figured pulock would cost more then I wanted to give up. It seems like we value them all the same, maybe I'll swing back later about the lefty. But I'm not sure we could work something out ATM
