He's NHL ready and a good, cerebral player. He can PK and skate. He's just fallen out of favor with the brass and won't be given a chance. He'd make a good bottom-six wing.

As of now Hertl isn't even available according from Doug Wilson, he still wants to lock him up long term. I guess if they can get a deal done in the next 5 days then he could be still available.
