You keep trying to compare them as if they are remotely similar situations. I disagree with your breakdown on his value. I think Crouse is worth more and teams are more willing to pay up because of his low cost this year, and potential steal of a contract moving forward

They're not similar players, but my overall point is that a better player got the return you're suggesting Crouse should get. A team might be willing to pay more, but that doesn't mean that's what the player is worth or its inverse.
