Heinen and E-Rod have been playing great??? E-Rod 17 goals and 36 points. Heinen 12 goals and 23 points.

Those are the players u need with Geno. Super fast players never work. See Kappy, Zucker, Kessel, Sprong, Sheary, Players that find an open spot on the ice and go to the net do well with him. See Hornqvist, J.Neal, J.Ignila, Hossa, even D.Perron.

Both of those guys have not been "great" and are not legit top 6 forwards. ERod has two goals in the last last 20+ games. Get Malkin a legit winger and this team will make some noise this playoffs.

Like I said, Geno has had guys like Kappy, Zucker, Kessel, Sprong. Guys that are super talented, super fast, legit top 6, or have the potential of a top 6 wing.

They don’t fit with Geno and his style of “bully ball” hockey. Guys like Heinen fit well and same with E-Rod.

E-Rod hasn’t had a chance on Geno’s line(besides last night). Let see what happens.

E-Rod plays just like the players I mentioned(that play well with Geno). Hes not the fastest, not the best playmaker, not the biggest, not the most talented, but he finds the open spot on the ice. And he goes to net and finds rebounds and bouncing pucks.

When he played with Eichel in college, his Senior Year, he had 21 goals and 61 points in just 40 games. He plays well on a line with a big time playmaker
