You know this makes the Leafs worse now in the future. Kerfoot, Holl and Dermot are superior Copp, and Saucy And wanting the Leafs to give years of control and a second rounder, really how does this makes the Leafs better?

I would take Copp over Kerfoot any day of the week. He can play LW/C is physical and can move up the lineup much better than Kerfoot not to mention is the type of player that this team is missing.
Soucy is also under contract for two more years and plays both sides better than Dermott. Holl and Kerfoot will be gone this offseason as we will need their cap hit and have young players to fill the void.

If Both Copp and Kerfoot were available this tdl all the contenders would take Copp over Kerfoot. Look at how well JT/WN have played with Robertson
