Strome/Kane/Debrincat line looked good tonight as Strome is really coming into the role. I have always liked McCabe's work ethic but didn't think he fit, but tonight he played well. Hagel carried the second line. Carpenter and Lafferty are playing more consistently well. De Haan looks comfortable out there and S.Jones was fine. T.Johnson is a role player and is in the right spot, just needs time coming back from injury but had chances tonight.
Toews has some good aspects but is just floating around sometimes and needs his heart back in it. Murphy is lacking consistency and needs a locked in partner that compliments him. C.Jones has skill but just needs to tighten up his complete game. Regula needs experience. Kurashev works hard but needs strong linemates to carry him. Borgstrom needs a change of scenery maybe because to me, he don't make this line-up. Kubalik cannot get a handle on anything lately, in the right spot but just seems in a slump that he can't get out of.
Dach, to me, looks lost on the ice. Like he is playing recreational against his best friends letting them make their plays, and using no aggression to force the other team. So much talent there not being used. He needs a trip to Rockford to find his game and hopefully not hurt his confidence even more. I am not impressed with his game lately. Minor tweaks and he should be a star out there but I cringe watching him play. He needs mental coaching to find himself.
