Hard to say. Lucic was going to go for free in the offseaon. Seattle take him and his salary and Calgary probably has to add Florida's second.
Monahan is gone for probably less either way. 3rd probably gets it done alone.

Kylington was added. Looked right over him.

Mangiapane takes a bridge deal. One good season dosent get him 5 million..

"Tried my best". Really? Rakell signs for 4m, but Jersey pays to take Monahan? Lucic's M NTC would exclude poor teams with cap.. 20 man rosters don't work

You think Mangiapane's only had 1 good season? Bjorkstrand only had "1 good season" too and he got 5.4M Mangiapane probably gets the same deal as him 5.4M x 5 years

Also Zadorov is gone and Valimaki will be coming back up. I doubt they sign Rakell

Like i said above. Lucic waived his NMC this season already to go to Seattle. He gone one way or another.

Monahan dosent fetch anything more then a 3rd. And even a third is a stretch. A 4th and a 5th or just a 4th is enough. NJ has the cap to take it on.

Its all good tho, Youre the same guy keeping Mrazek over Campbell in your Armchair GM teams wink

Mang wont sign anything long term. Its already been said. 2 yrs max.

In regards to Valimaki that ship has sailed.. He gets traded probably this offseason, Kid desserved a shot and got screwed around by the Organization. Doubt he plays another game with Calgary unless we have some injuires during the playoffs. Mackey comes up before Valimaki..

Lucic waived so we could protect better players. Not because he wanted to go there.

Yes. And there was still a chance he got taken. Its either Seattle. Arizona, or buyout imo. They just dont have the cap. Either that or he retires.

No, Lucic didn't waive his NMC this season. He waived for the the Seattle entry draft. He knew he wasn't going to be selected by Seattle so in effect allowed the Flames to protect one more player.
His trade restrictions are still in place, and Lucic isn't waiving to a non contender.

Why wouldn't I suggest the Leafs keep Mrzarek over Campbell? Campbell is a UFA,so the Leafs better get used to the idea of Campbell leaving since the Leafs can't afford Campbell if he plays well. Point is he hasn't played that well for a few months.....so maybe he isn't the guy for the Leafs long term. And even at that Mrzarek has M NTC

Yea, I know Monahan isn't worth much in trade value. But isn't kinda silly to think the far superior Rakell is going to sign for 4m?

That's not true at all, negotiations haven't even started so something his agent suggested months ago doesn't mean anything

How has the Valimaki ship sailed? Exact same thing happened to Kylington and look where he is now. Mackey isn't nearly as good as Valimaki and won't get the chance over him even next year

In regards to Rakell. All depends who goes after him in FA. If Calgary takes a run this year then whos to say he dosent take a discount to take a run this coming season. 4M to play 3rd line and possible PP time. Not a bad deal on either part.

Seattles entry draft was for the 2021-22 season. Therefore he waived this season smile

Sorry bud, not you're just making stuff or just lying to try to prove your point.cry
Hey, we're not idiots on this site. Players were able to waive their NMCs for the Seattle draft ONLY and then get them reinstated immediately after the draft.
You're Rakell and Monahan deals......even a child wouldn't believe what you wrote.

I mean i think its pretty clear Sutter is anything but impressed with Valimaki and his play. Kid played like 8 games and had nothing but mistakes and then sat in the press box. Got sent down and then made comments in the media about the situation.

Not sure about you but when i look at Sutter I dont see a guy that has much patience for childish bull**** from his players.

I guess well see but i highly doubt Valimaki comes back up anytime soon. Stockton has been having a phenomenal year and he still isn't a + down there with the year theyre having.

Well, it didn't waive this season. Sure he might waive if being traded to Tampa, not a bottom feeder Again, you just make stuff to justify your futile argument. As you see, I post a lot with my CF pals. But guys who are not honest in their thoughts, I have no time for. Adios and "ignore"
