Just going by CJ saying that he thinks Dubas has interest in a Left handed defenceman. My initial thoughts go right to Soucy or Lindholm. Figure Soucy is the cheaper option and has some more term. Soucy also plays a much heavier game, figured it might be a better fit to what the leafs could use if they want to compete in the playoffs

That is exactly what the leafs don't need a small forward, might as well play Kerfoot and save the assets.

Disagree, the leafs had a tough time scoring last playoffs when the going got tough, would be nice to have some depth scoring, a veteran presence and a guy who is emotionally invested and battles

Agree with the type of player but Giroux isn't the guy to do the job. imo
