I wouldn't trade Kerfoot for Garland straight up. Kerfoot is way too versatile a player for the Leafs to be rushing to move him. He's a huge part of the penalty kills success this year.

Then switch Garland to Petterson. Kerfoot is as good as Garland costs way less. Why would a team send a player who's having a better season, makes less money and already knows the system?

A young RHD playing in a professional league in Europe and killing it is worth more than Garland. And I LOVE Garland.

Dermott is only a 7d with the leafs, could play in the top 4 of any other team.
