I highly doubt the isles would select Geekie with the 9th pick, Nazar or Lekkerimaki is more likely.

I’m saying in real life they would do that. Don’t think they would have any interest in Geekie, he won’t be a 1C and they already have Barzal/Nelson with a true center in Raty on the way. Nazar and Lekkerimaki both have elite shots and play solid two way games, Geekie does not.

In terms of rankings I think Geekie will be in the 13-15 range, his skating is awful which will cause him to drop IMO

there is no way the islanders would be interested in geekie same with alot of teams. But i definetly agree with what you are saying
