Raanta is better than Halak. It doesn't help the Canes. The retention still leaves the Canes over the cap, and Hamonic is just not good.



For Bear? Dickinson or Pearson half retained would probably be the ask, Futures and cap dumps don't do anything for a team about to win the Stanley Cup.
