But if the offer is a 7th & a prospect….

MMMM you have a 7th round pick, and a ****ty prospect. I am not sure where you are getting an evaluation of a 2nd round pick plus for Villeneuve, but shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit I wish you scouted me, I would have been a first round pick.

That return would certainly bring smiles to every Sabre fan.
Karmanos has been a trading genius.
While IMO this is a decent return for Pysyk (then just resign him in July), I some how suspect Jason will get more.
Not what your other trade proposed but more than this.
Let me add, sometimes other Sabre fans fail to recognize the difference between a decent return and no return.
Pysyk does not have a great resume other than this year.
After a career year, Florida let him go.
After one year in Dallas they let him go.
That is why I think this is a decent offer for him.
