Samsonov for Binnington?

MTL can take on a cap dump but retaining that much for 2 more years is too much. Plus, if we want to trade guys like Petry, Gally and Price, we will have to retain some salary. Considering the fact that a team can only retain on 3 contracts, it wouldnt make much sense to waste one of those 3 retentions on Hoffman.

He isn’t the worst. I feel on the right team he will be a thirty goal scorer. With us he will fit nicely if we find a better 3c

Iorio Is worth more than Hoff. Please do me a favor. Read up on the capitals prospects. Get a feel for who is good and who isn’t. Iorio could easily become a RHD MF. Why would you give him away? No MF is our 2nd best overall Dman imo
