Pavelski won't cost that much, way to much for a rental

l depends how bad NYR wants him. There's going to be a bidding war on him. With the cap situation around the league, rentals like Pavelski and Giroux are going to create bidding wars. Kravstov is a sweetener in the deal, that's it. He's got high upside, but his attitude is a red flag. (Think Alexander Semin). YOu could probably pull the second and the deal still gets done.

It's going to depend on how much other teams around the league are offering. Any team in the playoff picture that has the cap space is going to be kicking the tires on guys like Pavelksi and Giroux. Statistically, Pavelski is having the better year & he's signed for over $1M less than Giroux. When it comes to available forwards on the Trade Market, Pavelski should be the cream of the crop this year.

If things get competitive on the market, I could definitely see Pavelski going for well above market value (Lundkvist & a 1st). If the Rangers want to ensure that they have the top offer, they may have to throw in a 2nd and/or a guy like Kravtsov

Laughable. You don't pay that much for a 38 year old rental. You can get Miller cheaper than that.
