Both Boeser and Lindholm get far more then what you're offering here. Neither would sign those low ball offer. You do realize that Boesers qualifying offer is 1 x $7,500,000 so he's not taking a long term offer at less money.

as i said in my other post Boeser's camp said he is willing to take a home town discount to stay in Vancouver, Lindholm could maybe make 6, but i still don't see it

Rathbone is a great D prospect PPG in the AHL this year New jersey gets a guy who can immediately slot into their top 4, while getting a 2nd for a guy who is out of the cores window who is also not likely to re-sign there

I wouldn't trade for Severson in the first place, just try to sign him in free agency if he's available

I don't even think Severson has looked that good the past couple of seasons, he's not worth giving up a good prospect for

I think he has been in a ****ty situation with the Devlis that Dcore is pretty bad and has been playing with not the best partners in the past, this also more so trying to turn Rathbone into RHD as I just don't see a spot on the team for him going forward with OEL and Hughes being the teams LHD for the 6 years. Looking back on it I probably wouldn't want to give up rathbone in this trade either, but I am also trying not to undervalue other teams players

Rathbone will at the very least have the 3rd pair spot open for him, that's reason enough to keep him. Maybe him and OEL will trade places on the depth chart as time goes on, but the 3rd pair left side on Vancouver's blueline is being kept warm for him

Rathbone isn't going to slot into their top 4. Siegenthaler, Graves, Hamilton, Smith are all better
Why isn't Severson not going to resign?

Hasn't looked good? He is currently 3rd in NHL in defensive goals-above-replacement. And is a point-per-game player in 2022.

    He has been ELITE.

So you envision Rathbone supplanting whom then?
Jonas Siegenthaler? Ryan Graves? Ty Smith? Dougie Hamilton?
Or in the future... Shakir Mukhamadullin? Luke Hughes? Reilly Walsh? Kevin Bahl? Nikita Okhotiuk?

Siegenthaler has been one of the best defensive d-men in NHL this year. I don't think Rathbone's ceiling would even be at where Siegs is this year.

He was hurt for first 10 games or so and Dougie Hamilton was taking most offensive opportunities. Still was playing well…it’s not all about points.
