When Backlund of all players takes run at players, you know it's bad and not a Baghead fan, I agree with this take though

yeah you are, you literally used his particular brand of BS to further your point. You 100% follow him. His take is as dumb as all his takes.
As far as the "when backlund takes a run" take, I can easily say "when Rielly takes a run at you, you know its bad". you and baghead are both hilariously wrong about what happened that game.

From what I saw, the Leafs were intimidated by the Flames, no one dared to pull Zadorov off of Brodie when he was sitting on top of him

from what i saw that happens about 900 times a season to literally every team and people love to pretend it doesnt when they can use it to make a terrible point about needing to be tougher.

the video doesnt work, but whatever it is it doesnt matter because you're wrong. Probably quoting pierre mcguire or some one equally bad at hockey analysis

it's cute how you think that posting videos of hits from the game literally means anything when i have told you countless times that it doesnt matter how physical the flames were, the leafs were not intimidated or bullied because no matter how physical the flames got the leafs still carried the play. right to the end of the game. They had no fear at all of the flames being physical and would have won that game if the goaltending had been remotely good on their end

how about shots from everywhere with a big number of them coming right in front of the net?

the leafs are literally a top team in the NHL at shots from in front of the net high danger areas, and yes, that includes the playoffs.

Do you not agree? When Matthews got rag dolled by Chiarot, the Habs knew that to win the series they will have to push around the players on the Leafs. Leafs were intimidated by the Habs and couldn't close out the series

no, i clearly dont agree.
Matthews was laughing the entire time and basically had the puck on his stick 99.9% of the time when he was on the ice. The leafs dominated in possession and lost because Matthews wrist was at like 10% and he couldnt shoot well and tavares was hurt on top of Carey Price being possessed by the ghost of dominic Hasek.
The leafs were in the habs zone almost as much as Price was and basically controlled play the entire series. If price was 1% worse they'd have swept the Habs.
They were not remotely intimidated.

Here we go with the statistics again. When the Leafs replace Dubas and get rid of the analytics department for someone who values grit and physicality, I will start believing again

Yes, we all know you value grit and physicality over everything else to the point where you probably glaze over while watching the game until someone throws a hit and only remember that and the final score

Either way, Dubas will be tested in the first round of the playoffs. Anything less than a first round win, I expect him to be replaced. I also expect the Leafs to get rid of their analytics department

He will be replaced, you can't continue building a team with 5 first round exits in a row especially with the money paid to Tavares, Matthews, and Marner

it's wonderful how you just breeze through any counter point to your inane repetition like it wasnt there.
