Petry is having a terrible season and no one is denied that. But a lot of people who don’t have any insight of what is really goiing on whit him. There a reason behind is poor play and if some people would think before making stupid remark on social media a lot of that could been avoid, not just for Petry but on Athletes in general. Is wife has received death threat earlier this season. Then she left for a while and finally made the decision to stay in their home back in Michigan. Maybe he have the right to not had Hockey in first priority for the past couple Month. Hockey players are human just like everyone here and when thing happen around you or to your close circle it can be hard to handle. I would bet that some of you would received death treath you would maybe had that in mind most of the time and some of you might have some kid so that it would become even more of a burden to support. Does that excuse is performance not at all but it might put thing in another perspective for people around here who don’t consider hockey players as people but like they where some avatar in a Nintendo game that are devoid with feeling and pain. Totally agree on that. Even coming after the players himself is just awful. I just found that incredibly coward.
