Florida get their LHD + Brassard for playoff experience / insurance or could replace with Thompson
Philly get a decent RHD on a good contract with 2 years left, solid RW who should be top 6 and Vatrano can audition for a contract for next year, good player just no ice time in Fla right now

Brassard only played 10 games for the Panthers and was traded to Colorado at the TDL because Fla was not going to the post season , a smart move to get a pick for a pending UFA
anyways he is a bit player in the deal , you can replace him with Thompson.The point I was trying to make is that having experienced role players can come in handy if you go deep into the SCF
