Even when he's in a slump, that Binnington offer is pure garbage.

Binnington would be a fine pickup in the net but I'm not sure STL would want to part ways with him for only a potential late 1st, a couple of cap dumps, and a prospect who can literally only shoot. Instead of grabbing Provorov from Philly, I'd grab Travis Sanheim instead, not sure he's available but if he is the oilers should be all over him. A great offensive player driver who could work with either Bouchard or Ceci while only having a slightly below-average defense. He's a decent finisher and draws more penalties than he takes.

I think its a bad idea to take on a contract like Provorov's when the Oilers have some legit players coming up on LD and also with Bouchard likely getting a payday in 2 more seasons. If they upgrade D at all I think it will be someone with 1 or 2 yrs max remaining on their contract, and most likely a RHD.
