Campbell for Vezina

He shot 33% to start the season. Which is why he's slowed down. Krieder will slow down as well.

Leaf fans are so biased! I think it will be either Draisaitl, or Ovechkin with Matthews close behind. I would be shocked if Kreider pulled it off though. But Campbell for the vezina! Funny. Campbell is not as good as the others.. his numbers will go down when he hits that 50-60 games played mark. But no Bouchard for the Calder! He should win it… he is better than those guys… haha.

The NHL awards are so goddamn boring - it's the same, like, eight dudes rotating who wins what with the obvious exception of the Calder.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but if the Canucks keep playing well, Bruce Boudreau should win the Jack Adams. The turnaround in that team since he took over as head coach has been ****ing remarkable. They went from 8-15-3 under Green to 11-4-3 under Boudreau, and I think that shows exactly how valuable he's been as a coach this year - his win percentage is exactly the same as Sullivan's at 61%, but Boudreau dragged the Canucks up to that from a 30% win percentage. Brind'Amour has a win percentage of 72% (which is seriously bananas) and Gallant's is 62%, and while those records are obviously good, I would argue that they've faced significantly fewer challenges than Boudreau has.

That said, if we're just going by "team with the best record, ergo they're the best coach," I think you're missing some clear candidates in Jared Bednar at 74% wins (holy ****, right???) and Jon Cooper at 65%. Hell, Andrew Brunette is at 63% wins since he took over in October. All three have better records than either Gallant and Sullivan. (Good teams and coaches really do exist outside of the Metro! Mind blowing but true!)

In other spicy takes: the Messier is total bull****, the Masterson is just ridiculous, and the Lady Byng is a ****ing joke - Matthews being a finalist last year is proof of that.
