Not a bad thought (Braun), but I think a late round 3rd for Braun and retention is a bit light.

The way hes been playing and at just 900k, I think Philly gets a bit more than that....(not tons, but maybe a 2nd, or a 3rd and 4th)

as a defensive specialist, not super surprised people undervalue Lehkonen, and he is RFA, so not a rental. And ups his game in the playoffs. his compete level is right up there with Gallgher, just the production hasnt been there.

i think a 2nd is fair if kulak is in the deal and with enough retention to make the avs cap compliant.

Kulak is worth a 3-5th
Lehkonen is worth at least a 2nd with retention.

yea i don't know about that. lehky with max rentention is worth somewhere between a 2nd and 3rd, imo. avs might not need max rentention anyway. just enough to be cap compliant.

no and i'm not sure the avs are interested they may decide on more scoring instead as they already have jost, loc, and helm who can play that role. nuke and compher too if the avs get a top 6f.

If we are going to rebuilt, we need Lehky to show work ethic to the younster. If we want a quick retool, we still need Lehky, he is much more valuable than Drouin Hoffman Armia

i dont think the habs can afford to keep him. they'd have to cut somewhere else.

Habs are rebuilding, they have endless ways of ditching cap to keep Lehkonen.






I dont disagree, any Lehkonen trade SHOULD be an overpay.

a lot of overpaid or long term contract's tho. if you want to just dump a contract but that still might be a loss for the habs.

the other question is should they. habs already have toffoli, drouin, anderson, gallagher, hoffman, caufield, and armia signed for next season. that's 7 wingers and most of them are signed beyond next season too.
