Dave try these lines please if were not making any trades

Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
Heavier top 6 would replicate playoff hockey a bit more.

McLeod & Yamo are starting to play better, let them go off against easy competition. Benson gets to play with some skill.

Lines 1&2 play 20 mins max including PP & PK for Hyman/Nuge/Foegele. Foegele played well when he was up with McDavid. Pulju and McDavid have good numbers together.

Line 3 plays 12 mins including PK duties for McLeod/Yamo/Benson

Line 4 plays 8 mins a night with PK duties for Shore/Sceviour/Ryan

Only switch I would make are maybe swapping Yamo & Kassian - Yamo being the better defensive player.


PK1: McLeod & Yamo
PK2: Shore & Sceviour/Ryan
PK3: Nuge & Hyman - give most of the early PKs to the bottom 6 guys.

Could mix in Benson

We need to start utilizing our bottom 6 more to get some real results. Playing 6 minutes a night won't help them develop into better NHL players. This is not a developmental league, but guys do need to play to get rhythm.

Really though, we are missing a top 4 LHD, another Foegele type in the bottom 6, and a goalie.

I think they will make trades it's just too early for any teams to give up on their season except maybe seattle and arizona.

I don't mind these lines, one minor switch I would do, flip Bouchard with Ceci, have the young up and coming Bouchard play with Duncan Keith and really learn through experience with him as your D Partner.. But yes, in the meantime if there are no trades on the horizon and they're stuck with what they have, give McLeod more minutes, push Yamamoto back to the 3rd line with him and maybe Kassian to be their "protector" on the other wing...

I don't see them making any trades any time soon which is why I'm suggesting these lineup changes. February is not soon

That 3rd line doesn’t work for me. 2 very inexperienced guys at LW and centre with a tiny guy with not much experience as their back up…. They would get eaten out there. But I do think he should try other lines before trading. Unless there’s a real goalie like Fleury available. It’s been so long since we had a top goalie we have forgotten how important it is
