It should be criminal to be the worst team in the league and losing 0-1 every game or 1-2. 3 SOG on goal after 1 period against Ottawa, who’s not exactly prime New Jersey 2000. Especially considering the actual roster he possesses. The narrative that Trotz is forced to play like this because we have a bottom-5 forward group is so ridicolous that I won’t even bother discussing it anymore.

There is nothing to get excited about watching this team this year. Nothing. As a Philly fan you could at least see your team be blown out in a high eventful 5-7 loss to the Avs last night. We get one Czarnik shot on goal from a terrible angle.

Trotz would rather do things his way and lose instead of going with high upside lines/D pairs

Trotz on Wahlstrom: ”do I want him to be a top-line winger? Absolutely. And I hope he gets there.” Haha if only he was as good as Bailey.

Trotz puts him with AHL players in a 3rd line role and he still has a better impact than every winger on the team.

My thoughts on Barry Trotz:

While being a fan of a division rival means I'm happy to see a team in the division give Washington a better playoff chance, it makes me sad to see Trotz fall off like this.
