Goaltending still very questionable with the jury still out on gustavsson given small sample sizes in every phase of career so far especially at NHL level

Habs accept that

- I'm not giving up as much for Toffoli. Remove the 2nd and I'd probably do it

- Pinto just missed a whole season, can't expect him to carry the 2nd line.

- Paul is not efficient as a Center but much better on LW

- I think Tychonick and Novak will be let go

- I don't think they'd sign Ian Cole

- Lassi Thomson is more NHL ready and will have more NHL experience than JBD, so you can probably switch both

- the White buyout makes sense in a financial perspective but there's no 2nd line center (and Paul is not, Pinto shouldn't be because of his injury)

I like a lot fo these points but also.

Sokolov and Greig likely are pushing for spots on the roster.
Doubt Murray comes back, they still have Giant Sogard that can come compete for the net with Gus.
Would rather have another player from Belleville rn than Acari.
