I got Zach Bolduc confused with NYI's Sam Bolduc. I didnt realize he was your 2021 1st rounder. I still think Gio -> STL is a good fit but maybe replace Bolduc with a lesser prospect

Fair points, I would look at this as a worst case for Gio. Hopefully Armstrong can work his magic and do something like '22 1st + Alexandrov, and if needed maybe throw in a later pick that upgrades to a 2nd if Blues win cup.

Blues' forward group is deeper than in '19, but they need upgrade on LD to be contenders (Scandella in top 4 is not going to cut it), and Lindholm and Chychrun are likely to cost more. I'm not convinced the Blues' window for contention stays open beyond '22-'23, so they gotta go for it.
