I would almost just drop kessel out of it. Chychrun is the only player that interests me out of Arizona. Tough to judge the value. That 3 really good prospects (one in each position) and practically a whole drafts worth of picks for one player. I think Chychrun is really good and has a nice deal, but that’s a pretty massive package.

I like Gourde and Soucy, unfortunately I think Gourde would be a luxury we can’t afford. Can’t have Mcd, Drai, Nuge, Hyman, JP and Gourde all making $5M+ With term. Soucy I really like. Affordable, heavy playing LHD.

how are you going to make the cap work when Nurse and Smith come back. How do you plan on signing Jesse, Yamo and Bouchard to longer deals with raises?

Nurses money is already in the cap. Hes not on LTIR. Its a 24 man roster above. Turris comes out when Smith returns. Next year Kessel and Russel wont be here. That more then covers Nurses raise. I trade Barrie to accommodate raises for Jesse and Yamamoto. If Yamamoto isnt actually traded by Holland. Bouchard doesnt need a raise. Hes still on his entry level contract next year

And that's FAR too much value going to Seattle. Gourde's value is near zero and a 3rd pairing defenseman isn't worth a 1st + Savoie.
