I think Miller would be a great add for the Leafs

The deal is fair. Retaining 50% of 5 mil for a yr and a half is nothing. Especially if you are trading Miller you are saying we need to take a step back and draft some new guys. Adding picks for that little money would be a great used of resources.

Miller is tie for 10th in points this season, above all of the leafs players. Why sell low and take on Ritchie's contract? Another team would be will to give up more.

if it's the case you can get more sure. Taking Richie back is totally fine though. It's not as though we need the cap space if we are trading our top scorer.

For some reason I thought Ritchie had signed a 4 year deal. One more year of Ritchie wouldn't be too bad.
