Description
wings tank for the next few seasons, stockpile draft picks / prospects, and by the early 20's if done successfully, they can compete for the cup again. enough of this bubble nonsense.

sharp- great leader who knows how to win. can help mentor the kids

5 first round picks in the first round!!!! now these trades are all hypothetical. you can substitute the picks for prospects if you choose. But my idea is concrete. absorb bad contracts and receive good picks/ prospects in return. (ex Arizona, Toronto, Carolina, etc... )

not a bad idea. The thought is right there. I don't think wings will give up Mrazek and Nyqvist tho. The Green and Bieksa Trades are pretty smart

It's inevitable... I hope Kenny realizes he needs a rebuild and not just a retool...they need to cut the core even further and maximize assets in the first two years and they may turn it around faster than people realize....they do have AA, Larkin and Mantha already

I was just trying to illustrate the idea that they need a full rebuild

No organization will be able to sleep at night knowing that the red wings have 5 first rounders in the draft. That is a recipe for disaster for other teams. This looks like a trade that can be done on EA not reality.

Not so sure on Sharp.... injured, old player whose days are finished and is not a clean person outside of hockey.....not worth four million

Every single contact is only a one year deal. A team would rather wait till off-season then give up a first. My eyes are bleeding.

Right so it makes total sense to trade a young 25 year old Goaltender in Mrazek for an aging Goaltender in Lehtonen how do any of these deals make sense do you honestly believe that these teams will give up their 1st rounders just for us to take their garbage. And i got news for you if we retain $2 million on Green he's easily worth a 1st rounder we can get for Green what Arizona got from the Rangers on the Yandle deal if we retain enough on Green's salary.
