I'd swap the 2nd and 4th lines and substitute Trocheck for Eichel, since it looks like the latter is head for surgery now that he's free from Buffalo. Maybe Kane and DeBrincat get paired up with their chemistry. Otherwise, this is probably a pretty accurate projection.

Tend to agree, but no other national team roster is going to come close to Canada's talent on paper. Where USA can make up ground is in familiarity and grit. With a good bench boss, I think USA will have every chance to be in the gold medal game.

Yeah id take our D over Canadas but outside of that they have us beat. Think the Systems will be super important along with guys like Matthews and Kane playing like stars.

Aside from goaltending, this team is not better than Canada. Also Matthew Tkachuk and DeBrincat should be on higher lines than Boeser

Garland over Larkin. Q. Hughes should be easily starting too. He's nowhere near the liability defensively he was last season

Think its more about fit and having a line like that 4th could frustrate teams IMO. Debrincat seems like a perfect linemate for Hughes which is why he is there

Um.. Garland is not a center, Larkin is, they have the same PPG and Larkin again can be a center and PK, he's the 4C if Eichel is playing. Secondly yeah Hughes is better this year but outside of a pairing with Mcavoy I dont seem him pairing well with Carlson or Fox
