Surprise surprise Chara was our worst player again

Explications
Isles were dominant in typical Isles fashion last night. Except for when Chára was close to the action of course. He's so bad it's laughable. He can_not_move his feet anymore. He's just standing there and just waving his stick around, 1/10 he gets lucky and swipes the puck out of someone's stick. Nice to see Andy Greene woken from the dead because of playing with Noah Dobson, that pair was really, really good again last night. Sebastian Aho should play tonight in Minnesota.

Adam Pelech was Norris good last night, nice that other fanbases that do not regularly watch Isles get to see his worth.

Chara is a pylon - he cant even change direction anymore. Trotz needs to wake up

The Greene-Dobson pairing was incredible. That was one of the best games I’ve ever seen Dobson play. Did you catch that play where he evaded pressure by passing the puck to himself when a forward was all over him?

Yeah haha, spot on re Chára. He can't turn his skates anymore. Let him sit with Lou in the press box, it's sad seeing him in this condition. Have you read the Isles HFboards forum? Most embarrassing thing ever. 9/10 is mocking the people who "judged Chára of the first 5 games". They think he was one of our best players in this game. Our fanbase is broken. Yeah, he was amazing, and that play was amazing, Pelech-like, he's done that exact play a couple of times, so humiliating lol. And man Barzal, I feel for the guy, he's been "unlucky" since his rookie season. He should have 3 points of this game for sure.

I try not to read HF boards 😂

Speaking of Pelech, man that guy can drive a pairing. I guess the hockey world still hasn’t caught on that pelech is a two way beast. He’s not just a DFD. Through 9 games Pelech has a 60% xGF% playing mostly with Mayfield. Don’t get me wrong Mayfield is solid but he’s more of a 3rd pair D and Pelech is making him look a lot better than that

Haha, I wonder why. Exactly. - He should be in the Norris race this year if he continues to be this dominant with Scott Mayfield by his side lol. His contract is insane. Best thing Lou's done since he came to the Island.

How is Lee's game? I have him in my pool, playing well but can't get point?

Could be better, but has been solid for sure. Bailey especially drags him down.

Yeah I didn’t see the game last night, but I’ve heard from multiple people now it was probably our best defensive performance of the season and that’s no small feat against a team like WPG. Nice to see them rounding into form as playing like we know they can, hopefully they keep it rolling

Yeah, every player on the ice was good or great, except Chára. If Salo or an external addition is added we will be one of the favourites to win the SC this year. Surreal. It's been speculated Lou knows we have a Chára problem and looking to address it.

Mainly that win was in part to Winnipeg playing the second of a back to back and Hellebuyck was still sick so Comrie had to play again

Back-to-back sure, but Comrie saved them from not losing with more. Isles dominated the game from start to finish.
