I wouldn’t expect Shane Wright, the other bottom-dwellers have too much of a lead and the Sabres are… not that bad this year, somehow. Maybe get Freaky For Geekie instead?

Doesn't have to be Georgiev or that return specifically, I was just filling a need for an experienced goalie until Luokkanen is ready to be their no. 1.

Fair enough.

If it was me, I think I'd target a UFA goalie. Maybe Korpisalo on a 2 year deal? Not that he's any better than Georgiev, but I think you save the draft capital to steal some players this summer.

Just want to confirm we're talking about Lehner? Because fair enough...that worked out. Think he was always regarded as a guy with a high ceiling though.

I'm talking about the Ryan Miller trade followed by the Evander Kane trade where Buffalo traded that first and then the Evander Kane trade followed by the Montour trade where Buffalo traded that first.

Think I read something earlier this AM that he was expected to get it ASAP now that the deal is done. Out +/- 4 months.
