Description

Looking at some of the internet's discussion of Eichel to Vegas, there's the question of how to make the salary cap work without gutting team depth, especially considering injuries. The idea here is to make it work by doing 75% retention on depth guys to squeeze it under the cap - note that they don't appear on the roster since I'm not sure how to do it on CapFriendly.

Yeah, that's the issue - I did try creating them, but they wouldn't let me put the cap hit below $750k even though that's the idea of 75% retention across two teams (Buff retains 50%, AZ retains 50% of that 50%).
