The Faulk trade is smart in theory. I agree that overpaying for Shatty could be one of the most dangerous things for the NYR this offseason (long term), but I'm not sold Carolina takes that offer. Also doesn't Nash have a NMC? It's a good start to an idea though I think.

I think Step could be traded this off season. His NMC kicks in July 1. Hopefully for Faulk.

Nobody in their right minds will take on DG even if NYR eat 50%. Step for Faulk would make a lot more sense for Car.

Wouldn't know it looking at their roster and depth chart...
Few teams in league wouldn't have room for Kreider.... Jets are definitely not one of them.
