Description

There is a lot of tough decisions that Paul Maurice needs to make for the starting lineup as we have a lot of talented guys that can be in those spots. Cole Perfetti imo is way to intelligent and talented to be playing in the ahl even though I wouldn’t mind putting I’m in the 1C in the ahl for a season for him and Svech to both dominate, but I think we gotta bring him up. Heinola is currently fighting for that 6th spot and if u ask me I think him and Stanley should split games 40 and 40 and whoever plays the better out of those two will play come playoff time.

If Maurice wasn’t the coach, yes there would be some really tough decisions. But since he is, it’s cut and clear. Stanley will play 3LD, top 6 will be same as last year, and 4th line likely ends up being Harkins - Gustafsson - Nash

So far Stanley has outplayed Heinola so I think he’ll get that spot to start. But Dmen get hurt so I’m sure Heinola will still see a good amount of NHL ice this season. I think you have to give Svechnikov a roster spot to start. He has to much upside not too and looks great with Harkins. I don’t think Perfetti is quite ready and should get a season as the 1C and number 1 guy on the moose. He can really be a special player. Don’t rush him.

Maurice already said The 2nd line is copp Dubois and Ehlers, third line is stastny Lowry and likely vesa, Idk where perfetti can fit in the roster right now but like he’s gotta be right? there can easily be a top 6 spot open for him but u can’t just slide him in right away so idk.
