Both teams decline. Stop posting the same islanders trade over and over when we dont want it. Posting it again and again wont make it happen.

this is what ive seen for most Pettersson to Isles trades. Im not the only one

Right now we have 8 defensemen under contract that are better than Ruhwedel, including three RDs. We wouldn't pick him up off the waiver wire, let alone pay a third for him.

I havent seen a single pettersson trade giving up a 2nd let alone adding to that. Not by islander fans for sure.

yeah thats not happening. I,ll take JAD and a 2nd + for Lagere. But even then i wouldnt trade him for that

That Isles trade has been posted on here for quite some time. From a fit POV, it makes so much sense. Isles need a top 4 LD & the Pens could use a young winger/C in Bellows. In terms of cap though, I cannot see a deal happening without Hickey or Komarov being included. For cap purposes, I think cap would have to come back our way.
I cannot see Ruhwedel cracking that kind of return. Maybe a late pick or a late swap of picks, but nothing like this.
Also, an OS would be awesome. I rather target Thomas from the Blues, but either or would be nice additions for sure.
