Agreed, no point in trading for him now, complete the rebuild with all the picks and then go after him in 3 years (if he doesn't resign in TOR before then). Also, we're not even sure if the Yotes will still be in Arizona after next year, so no point in killing the rebuild plan at this point.

They’re likely to play downtown at veterans. Renovating it adds another sheet of ice in the valley and buys good will as it’s an arena that is in need of upgrades. It’s a low cost (in billionaires terms) way to get the public on your side.
