Not meant to be realistic but rather just having fun based on (1) how much cap space they'll have, and (2) how few NHL caliber players they have under contract for next year. I assumed Ladd goes to LTIR so I could push the envelope even further.

It’s going to be interesting to see who’s actually willing to sign there. I hear it’s an amazing place to live but the endless nonsense coming from the organization is going to be a real challenge attracting any quality free agent.

Agree. I don't expect them to be big players in the UFA market anyway, but they sure could be if they wanted to. They could throw a lot of money on the table and have a ton of roster spots to fill.
