I can see that, but this is the only type of offer Buffalo would consider, hopefully open some of their eyes

Basically yes, Sabres take a chance on Hillis and get a good bottom 6 forward as well and a centerman in Johansen that can take the pressure off of the young kids after flipping Drouin, so none of their prospects are forced into the 1c position years too early

The Blues wouldn't trade Mikko for Hagg straight up. But since you mentioned it, yes, they do also have a long history of grabbing very useful players in the 3rd round (Parayko, Binny, Emerson, Walman, Bishop, Gassoff, Rivers, etc.).

Then they should stop wasting their time with Eichel ACGMS, they have nothing to offer

Incorrect. But even if that was true, Hagg is a calamitous liability.

I hope you understand that Eichel’s value is at an all-time low. Take Caufield out and replace him with Poehling and switch the 1st to a second and there’s a chance that the Habs say yes lol

Eichels scheduled for surgery, nobody is going to have excuses to devalue him anymore and its infinitely better for Adams to let him sit for 5 years than trade him for nothing. Regardless youre evaluation is insane for Eichel with no surgery

He doesn’t want to be there, that’s obvious. Also if it’s infinitely better to sit him then why is Buffalo actively taking offers? You Sabres fans get crazier and crazier as time goes on lolllll

Youre either gaslighting or have no reading comprehension. Eichel is signed for 5 years, he does want out, Buffalo wants to move him out, but he still can not go anywhere else for 5 years. Thus the sabres are taking offers. If the Sabres were going to take a $hit lowball offer, Eichel would have been gone by now. It is infinitely better to waste 5 years of Eichels career than to trade him like they traded ROR and get nothing back for him. Sabres fans already know what happens if they trade him, just to get rid of him so we are fully understanding of Adams standing his ground to get the offer he wants. We dont care if we lose him as UFA, that means we put a big dent in his career and end up with the same amount of assets as if we trade him for garbage

So you’d rather waste his career out of spite and literally get nothing for him than moving him for pieces that may be able to help your team in the long run?💀💀

Well based on your evaluation they get pieces that are out of the league in a year or 2, so yes. The only pieces that help Buffalo in the long run are top 6 forwards, which you said Buffalo isnt getting. 💀💀 They dont need anything else so whats the point of moving him then?

So taking out the “pieces that are out of the league in a year or 2” in your trade proposal the trade turns into Caufield + a 1st for Eichel. Not to mention without Drouin, who you suggest is worthless, you don’t get that Johansen trade either lol
