100% Strome is worth like 2 2nds Max in Value IMO

Chicago is loaded with bottom 6 wingers and a few young guys who might be top 6 (Kurashev, Nylander, Riechel, Hagel). What they need though immediately is a bonafide top 6 RW player and Armia is not that. Chicago also doesn't need a RHD prospect with Mitchell and Regula both strong prospects and Murphy and Jones on the top two lines.

This trade doesn't work IMO because of the wrong players coming back.

What about Montreal's 2nd and Anaheim's 3rd which is basically a late 2nd or a 23 2nd? We can move Armia somewhere else if need be

I don't think the Hawks let Strome go for anything less then a late 1st or early 2nd and a decent prospect. Why should they? He was battling injury last year so he's already at his lowest point on value since becoming a Hawk, and with not knowing how Toews is going to come back from Covid long hauler syndrome why trade Strome? I'm willing to bet he may be available 20 plus games into the season if he's looking good and Toews is back 100% but until then, it's unlikely IMO and if it happens, the price I think is what I indicated above.
