If thats the return, both sides are probably fine with it, and both teams fans hate it. Buffalo absolutely should look to move strome immediately, which would also make the return more convoluted, which helps management. Plus it discourages any ideas of keeping strome around for whatever reason.
I am really happy that you feel this way.
I agree this is a decent return.
While I am not happy that the team is rebuilding, I am happy with the return.
Karmanos is certainly doing a great job directing KA.
In addition to the return for Sam and Rasmus, getting Butcher with a 5th was a great move.
Signing Anderson, Pysyk, Hinostroza, were great moves that cost nearly nothing and filled in holes in the line up.
I noticed a HUGE difference once Karmanos joined the team.

That's what I was thinking. I think it would help both teams with what they need by brutally stating what the plan moving forward is. As for Strome, I figured it would be a good flip for them, which is what it sounds like they want.
Well it punches all of the tickets for the Sabres:
Strome,
Center
Kravtsov,
RW prospect
Schneider,
RHD
2022
1st round pick (NYR)
I wonder if Strome may not fit into the future for the Sabres if they could sign him longer term.
While none of Cozens, Mittelstadt nor Strome will make us forget Jack, they would provide depth and flexibility at center.
