1. Kessel used on the top 6, can light it up with Mcdavid
2. Greiss is a serviceable starter and will be used in the playoffs
3. Turris is a minor cap dump so he won't cost much

I think Edmonton was in on greiss while a ufa but didn’t want to sign in Canada if that’s the case I highly doubt would trade for him. Plus it’s really not as big of an upgrade over kosk he had a down year but overall played really good for majority of the year. Might be a homer take but I believe his struggles were explainable and mostly avoidable moving into next season.

Arizona got a 2nd and a 7th for Ghost in a dump that was for 2 yrs 4.5. kassian 3yrs 3.2M is going to require more than a 3rd

ghost is so bad though, kassian isn't that bad, and it is barely a dump

he isn't a fit in Edmonton, he doesn't need a 2nd, Tyler Johnson got a 2nd and he is getting paid 5 mil and he got a 2nd round

In kassians last 76 games he has 39 points, that is better than Tyler Johnson last season and the season before, so yes a slightly better player and a 1.8 mil cap cut is worth a 3rd rounder not a 2nd

ok he was good with Mcdavid. so you;d have to have a mcdavid on your team to maximize kassian. Face it your stuck with him for at least 2 more years with that contract. He's Holland's edm version of justin abdelkader
