I agree that Debrincat is better.

I think Connor is better if you think the team is lacking scoring but when it comes to defensive play or transition you take the other guys

Yeah i think you have a great point with Carlson and maybe another player would be a lot more effective.
Hughes I do think has more to his game

Like what? He’s one of the worst defensive defensemen in the league. At 5 on 5 he isn’t very productive. If Hughes isn’t getting top PP duties he’s barely an NHL regular.

He could regress, but he’s still clearly better and also 3 years younger than Suter.
