The only reason I see in trading Dvorak to Montreal is the chance of the 1st being a lottery pick. Of course there can't be any top 10 protection or similar then. Guhle is also quite interesting. All in all, however, there are more intriguing possibilities from other teams.

2. We traded for him because we needed a player at that position.
3. The player you offer can't replace Leddy.

Man your over your head with dvorak a first and a prospect is way enough compared to the Vancouver trade. Maybe switch Joel for a better prospect like Mysak or Yloen but ....

A 1st and prospect may be enough depending on the team and prospect. With Byron (and somewhat Kulak) it's not that close of an offer. I'd really only consider Guhle and your 1st (throw Byron in their as well if you want) depending on what other teams are offering. Otherwise I'm happy keeping him. It may seem steep, but everything I propose fans call too much. Still, I have been pretty much spot on for all Coyotes trades so far. This may be the first time I'm wrong, but then I'm still 3/4.

Detroit passes, Leddy fills a need Brooks doesn't, And it wouldn't shock me if Yzerman doesn't resign Leddy he's by far our best LD and he's still only 31 years old plenty of hockey left in the tank.
