They got swept by a team that ended up going to the Finals, Scheifele was gone for 3 games(they're not getting swept with him in) Hellebuyck wasn't as good as he was against the Oilers when he faced the Montreal Canadiens but I guess you didn't factor that in? I don't like the Smith contract but let's not get to cocky here. We saw what people said about him last year and how he proved them wrong. If he can give us good goaltending this season I take it. The last year is what it is but if he can play a backup role then with someone else being the starter you can make it work decently. Hyman shows up everygame you should know that as a Leafs fan. 8 years is alot of term but he got the spirit and he is a warrior out there. I like that.
