true, but goalies are the most unpredictable, Flyers just drafted one in the 3rd round and we have Hart, Ersson, Ustimenko, Sandstrom, Feditov, Tomek. Never know which ones will pan out. And that's why I threw in the 3rd.

Really, that's not quite true? If people knew how all goalies would pan out, you don't think it would be vastly easier for each team to pinpoint a future starting goalie? Last time I checked projecting future number 1 goalies in the NHL is the hardest thing to do. So i would say that is pretty true.

I didn't say people knew how all goalies would pan out. I simply pushed back on your notion that we can never know which ones will pan out. That's not true.
