This one rocks and actually gives a fair look at alternatives without emptying the future assets. Trades seem fair enough, especially for teams looking to trade cap for draft picks.
I need John Gibson to the Pens.. Absolutely need. Keep manifesting it please. Only thing that is tough is Anaheim gaining $1m towards the cap when they would likely try to lose space in a Gibson deal. Maybe retain half of Pettersson ($2m over 4 years is brutal, but trading Zucker and getting Gibson is worth it IMO) for them to do it? Legare is also likely the better prospect between himself and Poulin, so they're getting another future and will be a scary team in a few years.
Tkachuk trade probably starts with Guentzel like you have, which is obviously a very difficult decision. If they would rather have the physicality and speed over a guy who can snipe and score in the net front, it makes sense. Would be hard to resign him in 2022, but Carter and Rust likely leaving opens the door. I think I would do it.
Palmeiri on Sid's line would just be too much fun. Dupuis 2.0 immediately. Also pick up a Pens kryptonite for the sole fact that we dont have to play against him? Love it. Raffl would be a smart move, too.
Still have concerns about the right side offense and defense (especially with Kapanen + Rust new contracts) but I think the trio of POJ, Ruhwedel and Friedman can hold it down. Just hope Matheson doesn't sink Marino again, which would likely be the same result as the beginning of last year.
