Wtf would we trade Buch for Kutz. Pretty much only reason Buch would be moved is cap hit and you and to trade him for an overpaid, underperforming drug abuser. Who has not played top hockey in years.

1) Yes they are trying to move Buch to create space... for a top 6 center AKA someone like Kuz.

2) Kuz is not overpaid or underperforming. Over the last 3 seasons among starting centers at 5v5/60:
-8th in primary assists
-14th in points

At all strengths/60:
-8th in primary assists
-18th in points

3) He's not a drug abuser. He did coke (like a huge chunk of the NHL does anyways) and got caught. Doubt he's doing it anymore.

4) He is not a cancer. Teammates love him. If Orpik is your best bud you know the team loves him.

5) He's easily worth his contract. He'd put up 90 points with Panarin, easy.

PPG is a more reliable points stat than overall points - shortened season and had to miss Covid last year so idk why you would just throw point totals around like they actually mean anything.

You would think someone with half a brain would know that, but I'm expecting this guy doesn't even have that.
